Having Bluetooth included makes it an excellent option to hear all the pings and alerts without external distractions. Just keep in mind there is a small learning curve to learning the menus and operations. 

What we liked:

• Two years warranty. Enjoy peace of mind with an included two-year warranty. The included warranty makes it ideal as a gift for a Dad, husband or boyfriend looking to get started with metal detectors. 
• Excellent carry bag and bundle included. Unlike many of the competitors in this price range, the Garrett Ace 400 comes with a quality carry bag, keeping it safe from the elements when not in use.
• Height adjustable. Easily adjust the detector to your preferred height, making it comfortable for long periods of use! 

What we didn’t like:

• No volume control. Some users have reported that some alerts are too loud which means you’ll need to wear the included headphones or be mindful of your surroundings.
