Katteb 2023 Review: Fact-Checking AI Content Beast or Flop?

There’s a huge glut of new AI Writers hitting the market right now. Since the launch of ChatGPT 3.5 in November 2022, there’s been a new AI writer launching every week.

Katteb caught my eye because it focuses on factual writing functionality – meaning less time checking facts after an article topic is selected. Is this new AI software worth your time? Or is it just another ChatGPT clone?

To be totally honest, I have some mixed feelings.

Is this Tool Actually As Good as The Competition? 

Right now, the AI Tool I personally use the most is Agility Writer. I find it’s got the best workflow for my personal use. And then, if I use my monthly credits with Agility Writer, I then swap over to KoalaWriter (because I picked up their lifetime deal which nets me 45,000 words per month). 

Like a lot of you, you’re probably looking for a good credible writer that’s powerful and will help you speed up your writing process – no matter what you’re working on. 

Will Katteb do that? Yep, you bet it will.

Is it amazing at turning out content super quickly? Yep.

Is it good at bypassing AI detection like Originality.ai? About as good as the competitors.

Does it have ChatGPT 4.0 for better-written content – yeah, it does. 

So why don’t I love the content it produces? Well, I’ve personally found that a lot of the content it outputs often repeats itself. Not all the time, just with some topics.

Mind you, this isn’t just a problem with Katteb (it happens with lots of AI generators). Maybe it’s just the content I’m creating with the tool. I’m not totally sure. But when I scan through the content, I have to weigh up how much time I’m going to spend cutting the crap out that sounds like waffle. 

Could Katteb be improved easily? Yep – and more than likely by the time you’re reading this it will be. But for right now, at the time of writing this review (April/May 2023) it’s not at the same level that the other writers currently are. 

I still think it’s an awesome AI tool and its toolset is impressive, but for me personally – I value my time over everything else. So speed to create and implement content is my number #1 goal. That’s why I keep using Agility Writer.

Katteb AI offers a plethora of features, so many that I’ve barely had a chance to test them all! There’s blog intros, headlines, feature snippet writer, FB ads ideas, paraphrasing, summarizer, pros and cons, about us pages… the list goes on and on! It’s insane.

But, like I mentioned at the beginning of the article, Katteb is focused mostly on Fact Checking and Reliable content. So let’s talk about that in more detail:

Fact-checking was a big issue when ChatGPT came out. This was obviously due to the fact that the data it used was only up to 2021. 

So if you asked ChatGPT or your preferred AI tool to help you write an article, it would often get the factual data wrong – which equals poor content. 

Katteb set out to fix that issue, and for the most part, it succeeded! 

Through its advanced algorithm, it can now accurately analyze data from credible sources to produce highly accurate results with speed and efficiency.

To make all this happen it uses deep semantic searches to ensure accuracy while relying on structured databases like Wikipedia or archives of news articles to identify keywords that are most relevant to a given topic. 

There’s also the options to manually add specific keywords if you want to guide the AI writer to optimise the content – something most writers are doing now days.

User-friendly And Efficient Interface

Katteb AI has a pretty slick interface thats easy to navigate and intuitive to use. They actually did a pretty recent update to the whole thing and it’s now very easy to use and find your way around. All of the features are just one or two clicks away, allowing for quick access to all the various tools you’ll use.

When you log in for the first time, you might feel a tiny tad overwhelmed because there are a lot of options to choose from here (including AI image creation). 

Personally, I’ve been using the Katteb Plus and Credible Writer options to create blog long form, SEO-rich posts the majority of the time.  

On the main dashboard, you can also scroll down to access the ‘Quick Generate’ options. Perfect if you’re looking for regularly used items. 

One thing I’m keen to test is the Featured Snippets tool (I haven’t got around to it just yet), but this is something I’m working on in 2023 – following the SEO strategies from Matt Diggity. 

Advanced Natural Language Processing

Like most ChatGPT tools, Katteb also harnesses powerful algorithms to analyze content and identify patterns that are used to rewrite/generate content accurately. 

The platform also allows users to customize their content according to their chosen target keywords by automatically optimizing meta tags inside texts for search engine queries. I personally recommend you use a tool like LowFruits.io if you need help finding keywords to rank for.

In a nutshell, the content coming out of Katteb is natural sounding, factually accurate, and better than what you’ll typically get from ChatGPT. 

Free Built-in AI Art Generator

I haven’t really jumped on the AI Image generation train just yet. I know it’s super powerful, and I see heaps of people creating print-on-demand designs with it, but I still haven’t found a tool that’s really blown my mind with its output. I’ve been testing Leonardo.ai, which is pretty cool but still has a ways to go IMO.

The image above was created through Katteb’s free inbuilt AI image generator using a simple prompt ‘create a beautiful flower with a bee sitting inside’. I think it did a pretty decent job – nothing to write home about though.

I can actually see a use case for AI images if you create blog content and you like the idea of free original images.

As I mentioned above, you can do blogs, social media posts, advertisements, and product descriptions. Perfect for someone that runs an eCommerce store!

One of the most useful features offered by the software is the ability to customize content creation and targeted keyword optimization.
