What we like:

What we didn’t like

• Big hands might get fatigued Some users have reported the handle/grip/trigger can cause fatigue after longer periods of use.

The StarFire XL is an excellent all-around choice for anyone looking to get their first gel blaster. It combines a huge gellet clip, higher FPS, 3 shooting modes, an incredibly fun glow-in-the-dark mode, making it ideal for competitive play. 

What we like:

• 300-round hopper. Shoot longer, and reload less! The included hopper has the capacity for 300 ready-to-fire gellets. Spend more time firing and less time reloadin’.  
  
• 10 Rounds Per Second Swap between semi-auto and full auto, with the option to unleash 10 rounds per second! Perfect for competitive play or target practice. 

What we didn’t like: 

• A portable Gellet bucket is not included. Although it’s not a deal breaker, just keep in mind that you’ll need to provide your own bucket or container to store your gellets in. 

If you’re looking for a fun gel blaster for family, friends, and teens, this is the one for you! A perfect balance of battery life, high FPS, awesome design, and large hopper make the Nerf Pro one of the best gel blasters currently available. Plus – who doesn’t love Mr Beast?

What we like:

What we didn’t like:

• Micro USB charging. Whilst we still have a few old Micro USB chargers lying around, USB-C is our preferred option.

What we liked:

• Laser sight and flashlight. Take your gel blasting to the next level with the included lazersight and included flashlight. Perfect for competition-level gel blasting and late-night skirmishes.

What we didn’t like:

• Range is limited. Although the Big Splatter has a huge 1200-round capacity, other gel blasters offer a higher range. 

If you’re looking to intimidate your enemies, the Big Splatter has it all. A great selection of added accessories, a massive firing capacity, and even an included flashlight! Now you can enjoy nighttime fights without missing a shot.  

Things we like:

• IP68 Waterproof. The RICOMAX GC-1037 is one of the only detectors currently available to include IP68 waterproofing, making it an ideal choice for beaches and wet terrains. 
• Small but mighty. While the tansar has a smaller footprint vs. it’s competitors, it’s still one of the most powerful blasters that’ll get the attention of your friends!
• High-quality beads included. While some other brands only include low-quality beads in the box, Tansar includes high-quality beads to help you get started. 

What we didn’t like:

• Smaller magazine size. The Tansar is designed as a run-and-gun blaster – so reloads are more frequent.  

The Tansar is an excellent option for anyone wanting a lightweight gel blaster with no frills. It’s easy to use, affordable, and perfect for all ages.  

What we like:

• 4 Awesome Color options. The Caissa comes with 4 unique colors to pick from, which makes it ideal for families or teams of players who want to distinguish their own gel blasters.
• Third Generation Gear Box. Unleash some of the highest FPS rates! 160-180 FPS with a range of 65-80ft. The upgraded gearbox means fasting firing rates with even more power.
• Included eyewear. Keep your eyes protected! Included in the box with the Caissa is a set of high-grade glasses to keep your family’s eyes protected. 

What we don’t like:

• The charging connector is finicky. Customers have reported that the charging port can be difficult to disconnect from. Take your time to make sure you don’t damage the charging port.

The Caissa is a small powerhouse gel blaster! Being a smaller blaster makes it ideal for new users, teens, or smaller hands. It includes a powerful gearbox and a massive FPS.

What we liked:

• Aggressive priced. The Cool Blaster can often be found at an excellent price, making it a great option for anyone looking to get started with gel blasters. 
• Heaps of included gels. Included in the box is 30,000+ gellets which should last you multiple sessions! Perfect if you’re planning a gel blaster birthday party or weekend session.
• Accurate long-range shooting. The long stock design makes the Cool Blaster one of the most accurate designs currently available, meaning long-distance shooting hit its targets.

What we didn’t like:

• Can’t use full drum for gellets. Customers have reported that the drum design has a small section that can’t be used for gellets, making the capacity less than other competitor brands.
